Hayley Waring, MEd, LPC-Associate, NCC
Hi there! I'm Hayley, a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate and National Certified Counselor supervised by Christine Giella, LPC-S. I work with children, teens, and young adults as they face challenges, build confidence, and discover their own strengths.
At the heart of my work is the belief that healing happens in safe, supportive relationships. I strive to create a warm, welcoming space where you or your child can show up just as you are—messy, growing, curious, hurting, hopeful—and know that it’s okay to be exactly that.
I am a certified TBRI® Practitioner (Trust-Based Relational Intervention®), an attachment-based model that helps build trust, strengthen relationships, and support emotional regulation. I am also trained in the Halo Project Curriculum, which equips me to work with adoptive and foster families, as well as those who have experienced developmental trauma or attachment wounds.
Outside of my counseling work, I’m a doctoral student researching connection and resilience in children, a former preschool teacher, and a children’s book author. I’ve also led therapeutic improv workshops for kids and teens, and I deeply believe in the healing power of creativity, play and acceptance.
Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, self-esteem struggles, grief, life transitions, or trauma, I would be honored to offer compassion, collaboration and encouragement to you or your child.
